Air and Ground Transportation
Louis Armstrong International Airport (MSY) is located 17 miles west of the Sheraton New Orleans. The airport is serviced by the following airlines: Air Canada, AirTran, America West, American, Continental, Delta, Frontier, JetBlue, Northwest, Southwest, United and US Airways.
Shuttle service is available from the airport to the Sheraton for $13 USD per person, one-way or $26 USD per person, round-trip. Limit three bags per person. Call 1.866.596.2699 or 1.504.522.3500 for more details or to make a reservation. Advance reservations are required 48 hours prior to travel for all ADA accessible transfers. Reservations are not required. You can get a shuttle when you arrive at Louis Armstrong International Airport by going to the counter located in the baggage claim area.
Taxicab rides cost $28 USD from the airport to the Central Business District, including the Sheraton, for one or two persons and $12 USD (per passenger) for three or more passengers. Pick-up is on the lower level, outside the baggage claim area. There may be an additional charge for extra baggage. A $1 fuel surcharge is added to the total fare.

Other major attractions such as Jackson Square, Lafayette Square, St. Charles Avenue and Bourbon Street are a short bus or cab ride or a longer walk away.
