Hotel Rates
MERLOT has negotiated a special rate of $135
per night for a single or double occupancy, $145 for
triple occupancy and $155 for quadruple occupancy rooms.
This rate is subject to state and local taxes, currently
14.25%. To confirm your reservation, you must provide
a major credit card number or send the Renaissance a
personal check. Reservations must be cancelled prior
to 72 hours of scheduled arrival or deposit will be
forfeited. To avoid any potential early checkout fees,
you must inform the hotel at or before check-in that
you will be departing early.
Group rates will be offered three days before and three
days after the dates of the conference, based upon availability.
The MERLOT International Conference room block
will be held until Friday, June 24, 2005. After
this date, the rooms will be released and reservations
will be taken based on availability of group rate.

Internet Access
Every room features complimentary Wired for
Business service, which includes high speed internet
access, as well as unlimited local and long distance
(within the US) phone calls for $9.95 per day. Wireless
access will be available in several areas of the Nashville
Convention Center during the operating hours of the
Convention Center. An 802.11b wireless card is necessary
to connect to the wireless network.
Travel to Nashville
The Nashville International Airport is serviced
by ten airlines: Air Canada, American, Continental,
Delta, Frontier, Independence, Northwest, Southwest,
United Express and US Airways.
The Renaissance Nashville Hotel and attached Nashville
Convention Center are seven miles west of the airport.
Shuttle service is available to and
from the airport by Gray Line Airport Express. The rate
is $12 one-way and $18 round trip when purchased upon
your arrival at the airport. Services run approximately
every 15-20 minutes from 5:00 a.m. until 11:00 p.m.

Taxis cost approximately $20 each
way. Rental cars are also available
at Nashville International Airport.
Special Needs
We are committed to making conference activities
accessible and enjoyable for all. If you have any type
of special need, such as a physical disability or dietary
requirements, please indicate your need in the ADA Requirements
area on the registration form. All meals at the conference
will include vegetarian selections.
